Villa Rental Policies

CHECK IN TIME: Check In time is 4:00 p.m.
CHECK OUT: Check Out is 10:00 a.m.

Payments for Reservation: At the time of booking 50% of the total price is due. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Applies to any cancellation, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Please contact The Plantation Villas as quickly as possible if it becomes necessary to cancel a reservation. If the property re-rents for the same length of time, and for the same rental amount, a refund will be issued. If the property does not re- rent all monies paid are forfeited and become income for the owner.

DISCLAIMER: We cannot guarantee HVAC, water heaters, CATV service, phone & electric service, etc. but will respond in a timely manner to ensure that service and/or appliance operation is restored. There will be no refunds or discounts for failures or problems. Remodeling, new construction, and home improvements continue year round in our community. Plantation Villas also cannot be held responsible for any ‘Act of God’ that would make the rental property or access to the Town of Edisto Beach unavailable for your occupancy.

In the event Owner is unable to deliver the Property to Guest under this Agreement for any reason whatsoever, Guest hereby agrees Owner’s sole liability is the full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest pursuant to the terms of this Agreement. Guest also agrees that in the case of a double-booking, loss of management of unit or occupancy by Owner, Guest will be entitled to a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Guest if Plantation Villas are unable to re-locate Guest to another suitable Property.

INTERNET: Please understand that due to the unique nature of our Barrier Island maintaining access can be a challenge. It is strongly recommended that you bring an Ethernet cable and a ‘mobile hotspot’ device especially if internet access is critical during your stay. Rental Guests are not permitted to change or set-up passwords on any provided service. No refunds will be considered due to the failure of internet service in rental properties. Community hot spots are available at several local businesses.

DAMAGES:  Guest is responsible for repair and/or cleaning costs for non-accidental damages to the Property caused during occupancy. Non-compliance of standard departure policies which create extra cleaning can be considered damage and incur extra fees charged to you. Guest authorizes Plantation Villas to charge their credit card on file for non-accidental damages or excessive cleaning. Guest will be notified if this occurs.

GRILLING:  You are responsible for the use of grills. You are also responsible for providing your own charcoal and propane for grilling. Grilling is only permitted on concrete surfaces. Do not use grills on decks, porches, under houses or near wooded areas. Please be sure you clean the grill and empty the ashes before you leave. We cannot guarantee the condition of grills at each property and cannot provide replacements.

PET POLICY: No Pets Allowed in the Plantation Villas.

SMOKING POLICY:  No Smoking Allowed in the Plantation Villas.

REFUNDS: Refunds will not be made due to inclement weather or maintenance and housekeeping issues.
